Chests are the only random rewards in the game. Each chest rolls once on its table below. Packs, offers and the Mythic Pass that hold chest keys open these same chests, and their odds are a tap away in the game (the (i) key) before you buy.

Guarantee: an Epic or better at least every 10 chests, and a Legendary at least every 40. The game counts your own chests and shows how many are left.
With the guarantees, 16.7% of Mythic Chests are Epic and 3.1% Legendary in the long run: a Legendary every 32 chests on average.
Titan Shards
When a chest gives the Shards of an Epic or Legendary Titan, the week's featured Titan of that tier gets exactly 50% of them and the rest are split evenly among the other Titans of the tier (Legendary: 50% for the featured Titan and 25% for each of the other 2; Epic: 50% for the featured Titan and 16.7% for each of the other 3). The featured Titans take turns, one a week. Shards of any Titan are split evenly among every Titan.
Shards only go to Titans who can still use them, to join or for stars. A Titan who already has every star (or holds enough Shards for them) is left out and the others share his part. A Titan who needs fewer Shards than a chest gives takes only those he needs, and each Shard left over pays 500 Gold; when no Titan of the tier can use them, every Shard pays 500 Gold instead. The game's odds sheet shows every Titan's share for your own account.
Gold, Ore and Scrolls
Gold and Ore grow 25% with every chapter you reach; the tables show chapter 1. Scrolls go to a random gear slot, except where a row says every gear slot.
Where paid chests are off
In Belgium and Brazil, chests cannot be opened with Gems and the chest keys in packs, offers and the Mythic Pass give fixed rewards instead, because paid random items are not allowed there. The same applies everywhere to players under 18: the game asks your year of birth once, before your first chest opened with Gems or with a chest key, or your first pack with chest keys. The free daily Wooden Chest opens for everyone and never asks.
